Sanctuary Labs · Aegis

Brand system

Ops-room clarity.

Aegis is the wall in the closet — situational awareness for the campus. The brand should feel technical, amber-lit, and built for operators, not marketers.

Mark

One pane of glass

The mark is an angular pane — a shield and a viewport. Amber is the live signal. Teal lines are the COP grid. Never round it into a soft consumer badge.

Color

Ink, amber, signal

Near-black ink fields. Amber for primary action and live status. Signal teal for secondary system cues. Fog for type. Keep edges hard; skip glow stacks.

Voice

Operator first.

We sound like

  • Direct — name the wall, the closet Mac mini, the license.
  • Situational — COP, alerts, lockdown — vocabulary operators already use.
  • Local — runs on your LAN; we host licenses and updates, not your cameras.

We avoid

  • Dashboard speak — “insights,” “unified platform,” “next-gen.”
  • Soft consumer UX — pills, badges, confetti, purple glow.
  • Orphan branding — always attribute Aegis to Sanctuary Labs nearby.

Parent

Sanctuary Labs owns the house

Sanctuary Labs builds background infrastructure so ministry can happen. Aegis keeps the ops-room voice for campus awareness — attribute the company in legal, footers, and nav.
